Hi there!

I’m Chip: a programmer, avid traveler, and student.

Chip at the UN

I’m a software developer with a specific interest in iOS app development; occasionally, I have to scratch the macOS itch too. I’m pretty decent in Swift, Java, and Objective-C, and can find my way around Python, Ruby, and JavaScript.

Fortunately, I’ve been a recipient of Apple’s WWDC Scholarship three times: 2015, 2016, and 2018. πŸŽ‰

I’m an alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, minoring in political science with honors. I’ve also recently completed UNITAR’s Young Leaders Program and UN Immersion Program. Currently I’m continuing my education in international law and international relations at Queen Mary University of London. If you know of a job that intersects computer science or software development with international law or international relations feel free to let me know!

I love to travel as well, having lived in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ, New Zealand πŸ‡³πŸ‡Ώ, and Mauritius πŸ‡²πŸ‡Ί! I’ve been to 58 countries and territories so far and’ll hopefully visit all of them some day.

To keep up with travels and see photos be sure to check out my Instagram at @beck.chip.

My resume can be found here (updated October 2023).
